HUH !
Wrote a longish reply much much earlier , among others thanking Sky for a most interesting QTReport , on an already interesting QT ! Rather wonderful that the TBI woman mentioned 'OPEN SOURCE' , has she been heard of since ?
Then I had a Dunt mail on all sorts of rather good stuff... and it appears that the vampires of Substack took their revenge when I didn't want to be a Paid Subscriber , with screens all racing up to top of page, and that post lost .

One of the good interviews on yesterday's WATO was with a retired Headteacher, who interviewed hundreds of young, and was shocked .
Apparently he hadn't realised before that English schools are exam-factories catering not at all for the 'less-performing', who either HATE the places or quietly suffer out their sentence .
Other countries do without the So Cruel OFSTED hit-squads . I've asked my teachers a few times if we don't have the much-loved English activities such as fining parents for sprog's non- attendance, and they look at me as tho I'm nuts .
And then back to Blair and 50% must have degrees !
Practical courses here much sought after, when the job is virtually guaranteed at the end . Cherbourg Lycée has 36 Bac places in Metallurgy sandwich courses , local industries being shipbuilding and nuclear, but people permanently needed for more peaceful industries too .
Second daughter's Tech Uni Logistics students all have jobs at the end , too.

Rats, ship , this raised a smile --
Going back a few years Paraguay was a favourite safe-haven , then followed the remote south of the NZ South Island --

https://www.rawstory.com/peter-thiel-26 ... m_18333834Tech billionaire Peter Thiel, an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump, has recently set “new roots” in Argentina as a potential “Plan B,” The New York Times reported, fueling widespread panic among onlookers given the billionaire’s past remarks about fearing a nuclear apocalypse.
“Chilling to read in the N.Y. Times article about Peter Thiel now living in Argentina that in the event of a nuclear war that devastates all of North America, Argentina ‘would hardly [be] affected at all,’” wrote author and former Ivy League professor Joyce Carol Oates Friday in a post on X. “Presumably the major reason that this far-right billionaire has left the US to live in Argentina.”

The severed pig heads lie ready on a table, the word “Macron” daubed in blue across their snouts. Within hours, Russian operatives will be delivering them to the doorways of nine mosques in central Paris, a “cognitive strike” designed by a shadowy Kremlin-linked PR firm to destabilise France.
This image comes from a leaked cache of documents which appears to reveal the extent of planning around the pig-head operation in September last year, as well as other Russian attempts to sow division and enmity in Europe.
They include details of an election-interference campaign in Armenia and incriminating references to an incident in Germany last year, in which hundreds of cars had their exhaust pipes filled with expanding foam and were defaced with stickers that read “Be greener!” in an apparent attempt to implicate the Green Party.
