G Business LB -- Trump’s move on Venezuela’s oil is attracting criticism.
"" “This is confiscatory, imperialistic and there is no justification for it,” said Jeffrey Sonnenfeld, a professor at Yale’s business school, the Financial Times reports. Sonnenfeld added:
“There is also no need for this oil as we have a global oil glut.”
One theory is that unless the oil is moved, Venezuela’s production could shut down as the country is running out of space to stash crude due to the US blockage. ""

The effect on China which may have already paid for the oil, plus other possibilities of legal action against the US, is endless! More deets at the G --
It's not about the supply, it's about his bank balance

Oh dear -- Marco Rubio's Brother-in-Law Was a Prolific Cocaine ...
Miami New Times https://www.miaminewtimes.com › news › marco-rubios-...
29 Dec 2025 — Almost 40 years ago, a Cuban immigrant was arrested and convicted of distributing $15 million worth of cocaine as part of a major drug ring .
" Rubio wrote in his memoir, An American Son, that he would visit the home every week to help care for their seven Samoyed dogs, all while his brother-in-law ran this prolific drug operation out of the house. He maintained that he and his family were not aware of Cicilia’s drug dealing at the time, although two law enforcement officials previously told New Times that they found it hard to believe. "

(which contained the Miama article, above ) --
"" The Trump administration seems incapable of grasping that – whatever people think of Maduro – very few Venezuelans welcome an invasion of their country by the United States. This is a tradition that goes back to Simón Bolívar, who warned specifically that Latin America must beware the new empire to the north and resist exchanging Spanish for American domination. Since Sunday, there have been demonstrations in many different parts of the country demanding Maduro’s release, including a huge one in Caracas itself. The dismay goes well beyond the support base of the regime. A leading anti-Maduro Catholic leader, interviewed on BBC Radio 4 on 5 January, was told, ‘You must be very happy now’. He replied: ‘No, we are not happy. We don’t like our country being occupied, and the majority of Venezuelans don’t want it to be occupied.’ ""

So, ICE have just murdered a woman in Minneapolis. There is video out there, so be careful where you click.
The US government is accusing her of being a domestic terrorist and some news outlets are saying what happened is 'unclear' - even though the video is very clear.
Meanwhile the Democrat mayor is unequivocal in his message.
