A little bit of good news from Darlington (and some spectacular reporting)

Off to drive a whole 22kms to Granville City to see my charming lab-ladies and find stuff not available more locally. May top up the tank too ...

At long last a Today interviewee pointed out that that this time could be far far worse than 1973/4 .

Then we drove our 2CV from London to Durham on more or less empty Motorway, gaily overtaking all the classy Jags and Rovers keeping to the 50mph limit. There must have been some lorries but I can't remember them, while nowadays on a 50mile trip to the uni hospital every second vehicle is an HGV often with Lithuanian or other European plates.

This is a good video on all the *other* issues, than just oil, that Hormuz being closed will be causing.

My farmer neighbour works terrific hours, but when I mentioned the Helium/MRI problem on Friday he was already aware of it !
