But, I thought we were at risk of population collapse because white people weren't having enough babies?

Star Participants !
The most famous American in St. Petersburg this year is alt-right influencer Candace Owens, who attracted widespread controversy by repeatedly claiming that Macron's wife is a transgender man.

The claims earned her a defamation lawsuit filed by France's presidential couple. Owens also believes that Neil Armstrong's moon landing was a hoax, that dinosaurs never existed, and that Covid-19 vaccines were harmful.

In St. Petersburg, she will lay out her thoughts at a panel on "traditional values."

Another American at the forum, former U.N. inspector in Iraq Scott Ritter, was sentenced for sexually harassing a minor in 2011, and has since become a regular guest of Russian propaganda outlet RT.

"People like Candace Owens obviously have a huge following," Sonin said. "But their posts from St. Petersburg will have no influence on their already convinced followers."

Other fringe figures this year include German politician Jorg Urban, known as a member of the radical wing of the Russia-friendly Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. The party's leader, Alice Weidel, previously disapproved of party members traveling to Russia for events.

The only announced foreign heads of state in St. Petersburg are the presidents of Uzbekistan and Tanzania, while only a handful of other countries sent high-level representatives.

The usual heavy transport planes overhead. A number of parachute drops all week culminating at a bigger one on Sunday.

Imagine being so corrupt you end up being investigated for corruption in Albania.

Imagine seeing a pristine island and wetlands home to 40 endangered species from flamingoes to seals (which was protected until the government was bribed into changing the law) and thinking, 'Let's concrete over all that and build a fenced off playground for the rich'.

This has all been waived through with zero oversight or public scrutiny by a 'Socialist' government elected on a promise to join the EU by 2030 yet everything they've done during this sickening fiasco is against EU law.

And from what I'm reading they've already unfrozen Kushner's assets and said nothing will stop the development.

Question Time came tonight from Makerfield.

Let's just get this Reform twat Robert Kenyon out of the way first shall we? Anyone with more than two functioning neurons to rub together voting for him after his performance tonight needs to be thrown in the sea. The man could barely finish a sentence, he was so incoherent that at times it was genuinely difficult to work out what the fuck he was talking about. He was also too much of a coward to apologise for the misogynistic comments he's made despite being directly asked to do so by women on the panel and in the audience. At one point he appeared to be trying to claim he couldn't be a misogynist because he loved his mother. I'm all for 'ordinary people' running for parliament, but he isn't ordinary, he's a fucking moron. Sometimes he didn't even finish a sentence, he just stopped talking as if his wizened mental processes had glitched and sat staring blankly for a few seconds before carrying on. If any of the ordinary people I know did that I'd be profoundly worried about them. Not that that stopped his gammon monkey fan club in the audience slapping their paws together every time he spoke. If this country ends up being run by cretins like this guy god help us all.

As for Andy Burnham, I thought he had a good evening. For anyone on the left hoping he's going to be the messiah, he put that to bed with his comments on policing which were firmly entrenched in the centre (at best), he praised the chief constable of Manchester for getting rid of rainbow police cars and refusing to take the knee. Whereas on the other hand if you want council houses built instead of massive developments with a few token 'affordable homes' he's your man. He is a centrist consensual politician, but at least one to the left of the current soulless shitshow we've had to put up with, and infinitely preferable to the alternative mentioned above. He wasn't given an easy ride tonight by the audience or panel, especially in regard to the reason for the by-election and his ambitions, but he handled it well not least because unlike just about anyone on the current Labour front bench, he knows how to talk to people and genuinely seems to give a shit.

For the Greens we had Sarah Wakefield. Sarah was parachuted in at the last minute while on maternity leave. She seems lovely and said all the right things but I'd rather the Greens had sat this one out.

For the Tories we had Michael Winstanley. Michael seemed a good humoured enough chap, the kind of Tory you might disagree with but still enjoy a drink with.

For the Lib Dems we had Jake Austin. Jake did a good job of putting the boot into Farage for ignoring the wishes of grieving parents to whip up far right violence and got a well deserved round of applause for it.
