Re: Thursday 25th June 2026
Spent yesterday morning being transfused, with a fan to keep me pleasantly cool !
( Also ruffled my broadsheet regional paper )
That was in the state hospital . Doc didn't like the look of a leg so did a test for DVT, which came out 'wrong', so he called the private radiology centre down the road to have an immediate Ultrasound .
Told my English sister this morning --
I remember Many Years Ago that the NHS had a cunning plan to save £££'s, so they sent X-Rays to Bangalore for interpretation .
What could possibly go wrong ?

A few months ago I organised access to the online Health Portal, password plus a code to my phone, so I just checked-- the radiologist's report was there last night, along with the hospital doc's report on my little stay .When do you get ultrasound result?
Took about half an hour . Always have to wait a bit !
The result..?
YES![]()
Do you have it or does it go to the doc? Have you got dvt?
No dvt, I walked out with the letter .
Ahh good
It's online too.
No one tells you anything here after any kind of test. They refer you to your doctor. After a fortnight

Pootling outside in Crocs and underpants, there came thunder all around the horizon , so I swept up the dried grass from strimming to clear the way to the storm drain ..........
